Default Something Really Cool Happened Today
I had to come home in the middle of the day to deal with the A/C guy (system froze up) and as I was walking up to my front door, there was a small potted plant there with a card under it addressed to "New Neighbors."

I opened it and it read "Welcome to the neighborhood!" and gave the name and address of the people who left it.

*Gosh*

I was floored. Put a smile on my face all day. Nice to know there are still some good people out there. I plan to go over this weekend and thank them. I just thought that was really a sweet thing to do.

The neighbors to the south of us were terrible. Cops were over there for DUIs, domestics, etc.

They burned down their garage and tried to frame my old man. This was after he shot their dog in their front yard since it came over and attacked our dog. Their dog also bit my brother in the ass. I think they also tried to frame my old man again when their house burned down after that.

Terrible freakin' neighbors.
