About 72F in mine. Unit is only one ton, but the garage is fully insulated.

The key to a garage is insulation, if its not insulated a window or portable AC unit is useless. Even if its 2' in front of your face anything past 90* outside and even if you put it in your lap the air will be hot by the time it gets to you. I posted about my bout with this my daughters place a couple weeks ago. I got pretty sick trying to do stuff in there when hot. I'm a garage dweller but (Love my wife... ) being holed up in the house sucks. At our new place it gets hot pretty much all summer so it will be insulated by next summer

First thing I asked him and it's about as well set up as it can be for predominantly outside walls.
Got thick batting in the attic and insulated garage doors that are well sealed.

Stoked for ya man! Was really glad to see how quickly temps dropped when we didn't even fire it up until late afternoon.

After I fly back in 2 weeks we can rewire/relocate that 30 amp outlet.

I’ll do that eventually I expect. But my window unit was a cheap and simple solution, a $40 find on Craig’s List. It’s worked fine for several years. And it’s in my backyard, doesn’t really matter what it looks like.
