Yeah, there are 2 levels still above me that I can shoot for in the remaining 15 years of my "formal" career. The potential for 700-1,000k, is very real with this company.

Always be worth more than you are paid. I got over 6 different offers to leave my company to join the Bigs. This company has been around for over 200 years. I'm not too worried about attrition. If that did happen, I could have another job the next day.

Hence why I'm forcing myself to take 3 weeks of unpaid time off. This is a chance of a lifetime, and I'll likely never get it again. I'm too much of a busy body, I don't know what to do with free time. These next 3 weeks should be interesting.

Enjoy it while it lasts. Was taking yearly month long vacations every Summer toward the end of my career. Really didn't want to come back and the way I ride motorcycles it's a wonder I did

Speaking of home improvements I scored a new garage door yesterday. Old one was ~15 years old and being problematic so real happy to upgrade.

No, we're doing that locally. I'm headed down to paint, landscape, update bathrooms, over see the company that will re-tile/re-coat the pool/hot tub etc.

Gonna be some long days but I can take off anytime for cold ones.
