Default Ever see a semi auto revolver?

I stumbled across a very interesting weapon this weekend. I suck at links...

Yes, my neighbor was a collector and he had a couple of those.

Not a semi auto revolver but he also owned a couple Nagant M1895 locked cylinder to barrel revolvers.

Looks like all it does is cock the hammer. Everything else is the same as a regular gun.

Wouldn't all double action revolvers be considered semi-automatic?

It seems like it's a single-action revolver that cocks itself after each shot. The trigger only releases the hammer but doesn't cock it.

Double-action implies that the trigger cocks the hammer and then releases it.

Don't tell Jim Crow Joe. He'll want to ban it right away.

"Nobody needs an assault rifle like that. No joke!!"

What's going to make more of a mess? A couple of rounds to the chest, from an "assault" rifle? Or two shotgun blasts to the chest?

As we know, Jim Crow Joe is fond of shotguns...

But only for "Dr." Jill to fire in the air from the porch.

Not heard of this one before. Would be cool to have in the collection.

One oddity I have is a Sig/Browning 9mm.

One of the old timers at the range told me they made a small run of them for a couple years in the early 80s when Sig was trying to increase their US presence by partnering with Browning.
