Dad has always been verbally abusive, mentally abusive, and manipulative. She's had enough. I lived there to help them out with the house and get back on my feet after the divorce, but had enough a couple years back so I moved out then. Since I was no longer the target, he focused on my aunt. Mom is the only one left and she can't deal with that shit anymore. He's got a prescription for some kind of meds to control his temper and mood swings, but when he's out he won't refill them, makes excuses, then goes on the warpath when mom either gets the refills or makes him do it.
