Looks to me like grandma was asking the questions. She was inquiring about the specifics. The granddaughter was not providing them. Grandma wasn’t being harassed. She was asking and asking and asking.

Because that’s what people do these days. I don’t know. You’ll have to ask the granddaughter that posted it.

Obviously, the grandmother knew she was being video’ed. She was getting cutesy with the questions a few times and playing to the camera. Whether she knew it would be posted is unclear…but anytime someone is videoing something it’s generally for social media. Everyone knows that, even a 93 year old grandmother.

I’m sure if she had asked the granddaughter to put the camera away, she would have. They seemed to be open with their conversation and dialogue, after all.

I just think that grandma could have lived out the last few months or years of her life without being told that. Heck, grandma might even have had suspicions. The questions, I think, were designed to shame the granddaughter, in a 'scared straight' type of way. I get that the times, they are a changin', and attitudes are different now, but we're talking about a 93 year old lady. I don't think attitudes in that generation are as liberal or accepting as they are for younger generations.

I just think that in that situation, "don't ask, don't tell" would have been the way to go.

If the video is reasonably current, then grandma was born around 1928 or so, so she came up in the 1940's/1950's. I'm sure they had sexual deviants back then, but they were closeted back then, and certainly weren't celebrated as stunning and brave.

Probably the most adventurous things grandma was involved in were sock hops, and wearing poodle skirts and saddle shoes. Maybe she participated in stuffing phone booths and swallowing live goldfish. Go granny, go granny, go granny go!
