Default My FAFO cane I made.....
Last June, while relic hunting, I fell down an embankment in to Pumpkinvine creek.
My left knee exploded.
Long story short, begrudgingly spent the summer and early fall recuperating after Docs cut open my leg and restrung it like a bass fiddle. Now, I still limp, but now a cane sure comes in handy.
Floor end is bored 1/2 out, 6 in deep, filled with BB'S, with a poured pewter cap to seal the end. Handle end is wrapped leather, scuffed and sealed with epoxy.
A 1/4 clockwise turn releases a 6 in blade in a T handle grip.
Old man FAFO......... This one is already sold....

Tear the ACL? I did and had a patella graft done. My reconstructed left knee is in better shape than my right knee.

The pop noise it made when rupturing sounded like a 12 ga.

Yup, sounded like a pistol shot, and that fuggin' tendon rolled up like a cheap window shade.
