You know of one now. I sold a 2019 C7 GS when Covid drove the prices through the roof and bought a 2013 427. They made a shitload of C7’s only a handful of 427’s.

I know of a handful that either went Z06, ZR1 or Callaway. Not completely common, but it does happen.

I make good money...but damn, I don't make Datawiz money obviously.

$167 is more than I paid for my first house. For a car? Too steep for me. I'm happy for ballers that can afford stupid money for toys, that way I can live vicariously through them. If I did ever do a C8Z, (maybe if they made a manual) I would have to add spray. A nice 250-300 shot on a progressive would get it moving along nicely.

I have owned two C7. One LT3 coupe and one LT1 convertible. Both auto and both gave me problems. Sold the LT3 at a slight profit but sold the vert at a loss. I never did like the C6 so I am currently on the search for a C5 Z06.

I think all Corvette enthusiasts are with you, I am, as the C5Z is easily one of the greatest values in the history of the Automotive Industry, and even more is the best value Corvette for both track and strip.

I have been very envious of the many I have seen!!

8 weeks or so (guessing early/mid June), and yes the dealer will honor the price. I have a written statement that I'm paying MSRP + 10k. Considering he already had that order placed for a stock unit, nothing forced him to pull it back and let me configure it.

My 2010 V was purchased used, two years old, under 15K miles, I finished the payment and paperwork on a Tuesday.
I did not sleep good until my Friday departure at 7 AM with an Enterprise rental.
Pensacola 650 miles, then onto FSU same night, another 200 miles, to crash at my oldest daughter's campus apartment--I avoid hotel bills whenever possible.

My 2015 C7Z07 was purchased 18 months old, sticker $108K I paid $72K, under 2K miles, in Charlotte, Porsche dealer.
Once purchased the dealer said he would handle the transport, I would pay but he had a list.
Well his list sucked, overpriced and a long wait, I got involved, got a covered carrier at a good price.
Delivery was three days after sale, not bad, I meet transport in Walmart near home, I was there an hour early just in case he made time on the roads.
Again, did not sleep well those two nights, as too much anticipation.

I cannot help you with the wait thingy, but I will tell you the waint is forgotten once you get in and fire her up!!

Yes, '21 to be sold or traded in. Gonna announce at this weekend's race that it's for sale to the fellow racers. They all know how fast it is, and it would come with 2 extra sets of factory rims, the factory swaybar, and the factory Z51 rear spoiler. If I can get a racer to buy it, I don't have to worry about going back to Miami to put a stock alignment back on it and selling the wheels separately.

I'd love for a racer to buy it, but I'm willing to take less to trade it ('cuz sales tax), but if I can sell it for enough more to offset what I'd save on sales tax, then I will. Pretty sure I'll get $70k on trade (car has 10k miles) and sells for 80-85k with my spec. If I let it go for $75k, it would cover the tax savings I'd have trading it.

I don't care about making money on this car, I just have a large amount of equity that will move forward into the Z06.
