^^ Ditto. A shoulder pain that had/has been around for quite awhile. No improvement after weekly jabs for about 2 months.

I tried “jinkypuncture”, no improvement. VA started providing “battlefield acupuncture” to replace opioids. Because, why not?

My estranged friend is an accupuncturist/qi gong practitioner, and herbalist in Naples, FL. I can absolutely say all of it works remarkably well, but it obviously depends on the practitioner. I used to be very allergic to cats. Very. My friend treated me a handful of times, mainly just the qi gong, and the lifetime allergy was cleared. Hell, Fuzz sometimes likes to curl up right by my chest at night, fur practically in my face and....no problems. He cured my Mom, who had Bell's Palsy in the span of about 2 or 3 days, one tx a day. I can't remember if he used the needles or just did the qi gong.
I'm VERY skeptical, but I've seen it work on me, my Mom, and on other people, seen it personally. My buddy and I were in The Netherlands, sightseeing, and for some reason I was suffering horribly from allergies. Bad, like, it was ruining my trip. "Dude, can't you do something about this?" Buddy: "Sure, hold on. One needle in side of one side of nose, buddy says, OK that nostril should be open.....now." Poof. It was open. Same with the other side. Incredible how fast it worked. Also had the needles with the burning moxa....moxibustion. Works great for dampness. Accupuncture works great for qi stagnation, etc. The thing about all this is, it's 100% dependent on the skill of your doctor, so if you've gone somewhere and not gotten good results....there you go. TL;DR: If you have a good doc, it works great. |
