Yes but I had the good sense to slam the phone down on him before I went into my rant. Had it been face to face it could have turned out badly. He was reorganized to a new department within a few months.

I didn't do that, but back in 1998 when I stopped working forty hours per week for someone else, I told my boss that I could no longer afford to work for him and that I was quitting.

On the other hand I have found great pleasure in leaving companies then taking a big hunk of their business and in some cases driving them out of business.

I told that to my old boss at the tennis facility I use to work at in Orlando, worked there 5 years, I relocated to ft Myers for school and said I would be back after April to work summer teaching schedule, got told, that they weren't sure they wanted to rehire me, because they were going through changes in te company, so i looked else where for work and got a better paying job. They called me a few weeks after I had already moved back and was at my new job wondering if I could fill in a position that was just opened from a friend quitting. Funny thing I new he was going to quit. Anyways met some buddies to play some tennis and the boss started questioning me on why I wouldn't work for them. Told them there business processes were horrible, they didnt know how to manage money nor there employees or how to even keep them around. Also told them that they should just close their doors because that's going to happen with in a year if they keep it up.


So they have 2 locations, one is about to close due to no revenue, and the second is not far behind, pretty much breaking even
