Why doesn't another union step in and make a bid. I'm sure there's a few other manufacturing unions that would love to step in and fill in. Considering Chicago's graduation and reading statistics, I think they might do a better job.

BEST damn teacher I EVER had in HS was a retired WW2 Admiral, Charlie Baisch, teaching HS Geometry ....circa '60 or so.....

it was the BEST class and well explained, the man was a natural.....

being a ADMIRAL, I suspect he knew how to navigate a canoe pretty good....

and a LEADER knows how to communicate reality.....the rest, may not so much....

That union is the one that started all the right to work bills. Right to Work might not be such an issue if they had done their job instead of demanding even more pay for lousy work.

well feck me...if I would have known I could have made $70K a year teaching, I would have finished my edjmacation degree.

oh wait...it was because I don't like kids...and in VA specilized teachers like Band Directors are expected to put in the extra hours for after school rehearsals, concerts, teach the marching band, do the football games, Distric/Reginal competitions, yet don't get any suplimental income like the teachers who also coach athletics, because we have "such a passion for our craft"

I got pretty bad arthritis in my hands, lucky to type at all, should see the amounts of corrections I do ......and I love to mess up the language, just because everyone give me grief over it.....

It's absurd that these under-performing parasites make TWICE the annual income of their hosts and are striking over a sweet, sweet employment deal that isn't good enough for them.
