Lost my dad in Jan and mom in Nov 2015 (that year pretty well sucked)
Not a day goes by I don't wish I could talk with him one more time.

Sorry for your loss aerovette.

My 92 year old father passed last November and hardly a week or 2 goes by that something comes up and I will think to myself "I need to talk to dad about that" before I remember that he is gone

Thank you. With the crying that has gone on in this house, I suggest buying stock in Kleenex instead. I'm still in some sort of mental denial. My brain keeps saying he's upstairs watching TV. If I'm upstairs (which I avoid) my brain says he's in the bathroom or shower.

It will take some time. Did some of the same things when my brother was killed. Kept wanting to pick up the phone and call him.
