Intake manifold serves to carry wire harness to various sensors in the front of the engine. Valve cover has sensors built into it, and under it. PCV system buried under the intake. All this shit is brittle plastic. Crank sensor required removal of all that shit. Diagnostic software is all written in German.

My Porsche, in contrast, is a breeze to work on. Locate the part, then remove it. Diagnostic tool was less than $200, and talks to all the modules in the car. Even the shop manual was free.
Nobody cares.

The 18 bucks isn’t the issue. Besides being tactless, this opens Pandora’s box. Consumers need to reject it before it gets out of hand.

If you had a set of tools and knew how to use them then you would.

I don't know if BMW was the first to try this. The first such scenario I heard about came from Toyota, who charges a subscription for the Remote Start feature.

Not that GM has a history of "New Coke" type screw ups. Then again, putting woke women in charge certainly isn't making things any better.

Every time i start out reading a Yadkin thread, it's like opening a Christmas present.

Look at it, shake it around a bit, open slowly and BOOM!
