Fire: It's what for dinner...
You folks may remember I made some Tex-Mex turkey burgers a couple of nights ago: Grilled burgers with a salsa made of browned onions, garlic, corn, etc. I have only one burger left, but I'm not that hungry tonight. I'm having Tostitos chips with Queso Con Carne dip and Chunky Salsa (hot) dip with a gin and tonic, followed by a dessert of 77% cacao dark chocolate with pear and almond slices in it.
Sounds good to me.... |

I saw that the other day and thought about getting it. I find I like the chocolates that are around 55%. Anything higher is a little to intense/sharp for me, but that one just sounded good. How did you like it? I opted for the chili and cherries. Again. The chili doesn't hit you until the very end. The cherries are slightly tart. They have an orange chocolate I'm going to try next, but that won't be for awhile. I try and eat it in moderation. A bar lasts me a long while...it's too rich for me to eat more than a small piece or two, at most. |
