Default Dammit! Forgot to charge my car last night

I had 94 miles of range left and my drive to work is 42 miles.

Oh well, I have access to a 220v receptacle where the maintenance office is. Will let it charge there today.

No fast chargers on the way?? 5 minutes of fast charging should be plenty to make the round trip.

If you go on a road trip & run low, you can fill-up in a matter of minutes and you'll be good to go for hundreds of miles

I have a Supercharger on my way to work, right off the highway. If I ever forget to charge, 5 mins of Supercharging is enough for my daily commute.

I've got just under a half-tank, 180 miles range or so. Where oh where will I fill it? The 7-11 is about 4 miles away, Kwik-Fil, 5, another one about 10 miles.

And I'm in a hurry, I've only got about 3-4 minutes to fill it up. Keeping fingers crossed.

A little nippy here, about +8 and I'll have the heater on full blast. I hope the heater doesn't use up all the gas up before I get to the gas station.

I never needed to.

A five minute stop at one of many gas stations, and I go from nearly 0 to 100% without fail.

The relevant question here is...can DJ remember to plug his appliance in?

Five minutes at the gas station and I'm good for a week.

You probably need to go at least 30 times per year (most people 52 times or so) to the gas station. With an EV, you only need to charge outside of your home if you go more than like 250 miles in a single day (or 150 miles if you in winter if you live in a cold state). I drive over 250 miles maybe 4 days of the year.. maybe 5 of 365.. So, I only NEED to charge outside of my home on about 5 days per year. Even if I have to go 300 miles in a day, a 5 minute charge gets me the additional 50 miles.

... and yet over the course of the year I spend less time getting gas than you spend sitting at chargers.

I also don't have to deal with the DAILY annoyance of plugging in when I get home, unplugging it in the morning, storing cords, etc. I walk out to my car and go. I get home and go inside. Having to deal with that shit every time I leave the house would certainly be every bit as, if not more annoying, than stopping for gas for 5 minutes every couple of weeks.

Unless you forget to plug in, then you're screwed.

I always tend to fill up at 1/4 tank. So even if I forget to stop, I can still go where I need to go without worry before filling up.

Come on man, try to keep up. If you do that, you just stop. Normal people sit in parking lots to eat a hot breakfast so it's no big deal.
