Owned a Buick Enclave 5 yrs 120+K miles
Owned a Ford Fusion 5 yrs 100+K miles

Only one out-of-pocket repair, was $700 on an Expedition.
I have no issues with Ford/GM quality, it has served me very well, as $700 in 33 years 750+K miles is a damn good history!!

I will admit that I honestly don't see the point of the Escalade V. Sure it's cool, but similar to all of the stupid EV threads, if I want to go drag race, I'm not going to do it in an SUV. The others are small enough that you can get at least a little of the sports car "feel". There is no way to spin that the Escalade is a tank.

I am sure your vehicles ran for a long time. But it is well-known that Toyota is far superior in quality control and longevity, Then the three big one here

Don't tell GSC3 that, he'll let you know that $700 makes it a high maintenance car and you'd never have to pay that in a Tesla.

Quality I'd buy it

My daughter drives my old one. Turns 18 in Aug. Routine maintenance only.

Thought of the V when I bought the DDHC. After reading some reviews and seeing performance numbers I couldn't justify $150K for it. With the past history of 2 CTS V's, which were both lemons, I went back to Dodge. The Trackhawk I had was flawless until it was totaled.
I'll see how GM does with the Hummer EV, maybe they have pulled their heads out of their asses and are starting to make better vehicles again.

I trust a 300k mile GX more than a new chevy

And for most truck owners, driving over curbs? No problem. For that owner? Expensive damage each time, at the minimum, some serious curb rash.
**** the potholes. The niggas in Houston would steal it 5 minutes after it's parked.
