Our fiscal year ends June 1. We do the bonuses and get them in August along with our raises. I about dropped over when my boss gave me my raise and bonus. I know this year won't be the same due to the FJB economy. We have seen a softening in the market. A bonus is something I don't plan on, and to be honest a raise as well. They are nice but not always guaranteed. Last job we went three years with no raises, no bonus and no 401K match.

We got a new Controller at work and we can put our whole bonus in 401k, and get matched next year.

Most years, I work about 5 - 6 Saturdays per year (Implementations).
This year, my system is being migrated to a new platform an we have Migration waves and we had several in addition to our implementations. They gave me a ton of comp days for those. The upper manager (very high ranked -she is an Executive Director) of the team we migrating to spoke to my managers manager how I'm always doing everything immediately without waiting and always have answers for them. This bumped up my review rating and the bonus was a result of that. This year, the migrations will continue.. Most of my system will be migrated by the end of the year.
