I don't know. I've never really had a problem with the mods there and I've said the same here on this forum time and time again. A couple have stuck up for me aat times when i was clearly int he wrong a time or two and i do respect that. I do not like the direction Jim/Jesse have taken things, but that's a discussion for another time.

Just read Jims response again and did not catch this the first time.

The result has been diminishing attendance at CI events the past couple of years during a time when the workload of the NCM’s events staff has increased to the point they are no longer able to be the planners and coordinators of the event.

Is he blaming NCM for the loss of this event?

I've attended every Cruise-in except I, II and the last one (for obvious reasons ).

Chris, you were there for the peak CI's and those were great times. You know what I mean.
The only reason I attended the last couple was to see my friends that roll in from all over the country.
It was the only time of the year we all got together.

When everyone started to walk away from the forum because of the management,
it directly effected the CI attendance.
They may never admit it, but I'm here to tell you it's the reason I will never go to one again.
CF management broke up a great get together, but they will never break up the friendships that were forged in those early years.

Truth be told, during my conversation with Roc Linkov, he did confirm to me that the number of events has increased significantly, while the staff he has to work with has not. I know this to be a fact myself. But that's not the reason why CI lost it's following and Jim knows it. Roc was still very accommodating and eager to set up BR II. Roc and I worked together to plan CI X. He's a great guy and will put on an event that will make us proud.

Thanks for the info everybody sorry I did search but used "cruise in" for the terms, as to what Iam use to...I have never been to Texas...unfortunately with less then a few days left and for the fact that Iam going to Talladega next week I won't be able to make it this year but it will definitely be on my mind for next year!!! I see you guys have the use of Texas Motorspeedway this year! AWESOME! I hope your able to get it again next year! I look forward to seeing pictures and hopefully attending next year if it should go down! Have fun everybody!
