As explained in the OT sticky about "guidelines for a pleasant VB experience", most join by requesting group access in UserCP.

An Admin has to grant it. Lowly Mods cannot.

Actually, it works like this...

When someone requests group membership via their UserCP page, ALL OT/BtB Moderators receive a personal notification message of the incoming request, and generally speaking, the first one to see it will then approve the request.

Upon reading the above post yesterday afternoon, I noted Bucwheat already had BtB access, so it was clearly already taken care of by the time I read of the request.

BB did you go to the UserCP at the top of the page in the blue bar and request group membership? I did not receive a request to approve.
