Default LS1 Intake swap out

i am looking to swap out my LS1 intake for an LS6 intake. what (besides the LS6 intake manifold) would i need to complete this installation?

Only way you can tell for sure would be to pull the intake and look at the underside. The LS6 is flat, the early LS1 are concave to accommodate the small coolant crossover lines that ran beneath the intake.
These coolant lines were revised for the newer intake, using only a crossover tube in the front ports on the heads, the rear ports are blocked off.

2001-2004 all used the same intake manifold. It's only called the "LS6" intake because 2001 was the first year for the LS6 too.

It's a good upgrade for 97-00 LS1s...but in your case, all you'd be doing is swapping identical parts.
