The one in TN. is having a 100th special this week. I should drive up there. We had a stand alone when I was growing up for a short while. It was good. Then they opened up one of those combo A&W and something else restaurant that was god awful. The people that work at the one in TN. are happy to work there and prepare the food correctly. They have a cruise night once a month.

I remember Shakey's I loved it as a kid. I always wanted to put money in that piano.

We had an absolutely amazing A&W in my home town when I was growing up. The family that owned it really knew what they were doing. Big, fat french fries, fresh huge onion rings, the best hot beef sandwiches. All the cool cars met up there to go find races. I proposed to my wifey there. Great memories.

Forgot all about this place, The Circle on Dundalk Ave, about halfway between Highlandtown and Dundalk on Baltimore's southeast side. Hung out there when I was a kid. Burger and a milkshake, my diet back then...

Pretty much my diet then, too.

Now my diet includes blood pressure and cholesterol medication.

There were a few of these scattered across the area. "The Cup" was the name and they had some the best hoagies (subs) and cheesesteaks around.
