He seemed to reach a breakthrough after about 295kph....slowly to 300, then right up to 304 very fast.....very scary!

Wow. That was an impressive lap. FAST car and a really smooth driver. The sound of the car was unusual to me. The tach showed he was turning 9K RPM, but the motor never really sounded like it was revving very hard. Can't argue with the results, though!

The little box on the right showed the driver.....LEFT hand drive?? and I noted no action by his right hand on the typical shifter....so what sort of setup is that?? can't be an automatic....

You really have to get past that whole "everyone in Europe drives on the wrong side of the road" mentality Gene. Both the country that track is in (Germany) & the country that car was made in (Italy) drive on the correct side of the road.
