We have a $50 cheapo sealer from Amazon that has worked well for us. It came with a bunch of bags, then they sent us a bunch more for free when we posted a review. We use a dehydrator to make dried apple slices, "sundried" tomatoes, raisins, and a few other things, then vacuum seal them.

Love the filets "blue", or "Pittsburgh" as they have very little fat. The T-Bones are thin enough that I can nail them on the grill as well. |
