Default My First Hand's On C8 Experience
Had the gang over today, one of the first arrivals was my buddy Art and his C8. He says, "you want to take it for a spin?"
My first comment, "does the bear sh!t in the woods?"

I feel honored that he let me operate his baby. I was impressed with the handling and ride, went through paddle shifting in T and Tr, very responsive and smooth, T has almost a Cadillac ride, Tr hunkered down and ready to rock & roll.

My honey was there, goes "oh no, here we go again................"

Congrats! I'm very glad I've had the chance to track a C8. Now I just want MINE!. Pretty sure it's August now due to plan shutdowns.

I drove my friend's C8 and liked it. But I would never buy over MSRP for one. I'll wait for when you can buy one with the GM employee discount.

They look great, but I wish they made it with a standard trans, but I guess that ship is sailing. And I'm getting old perhaps.

I'm thinking that as well. Maybe follow-on years will come with the option?

I thought that way as well for a long time. However, the rev matching on the new transmissions is so much better than I could ever do. When you listen to an in-cockpit F1 video and see what the technology has come to, I can't see why anybody would prefer a manual these days.

Color is Shadow Gray and already discontinued.

We have a white C8 and a '60 red and white in the hood. I always stop to talk to them when I see them. They're both very happy!
