And I don't want to jack Data's thread....

So I live in a trailer park, but I like to come off like I don't.
I don't see me winning the Rolex 24 hour race anytime soon.
I have a very thick wrist and would like an underwater watch that costs under $300.00,
Nox....
What watch would you recommend in the $200- $300 price range for me?

I have 4.A Movado, a Breil, a Seiko and one other (I’d have to check the type) every day use I’d go with a Seiko or similar, like a Citizen

nice looking watch.

i recently bought 2 used Seikos on eBay. first one i broke, trying to change the time when it was getting ready to change the date. oops. $35 gone. one lesson learned. then got a nice solar one, only to discover that it was missing the correct battery (rechargeable) and the hold down tab was broken too, so requested and got a refund on that one. $40 coming some time.

so i'm back to looking on eBay and Amazon for something to compliment my $85 Seiko Titanium (battery) that I got for myself a few years ago. had a nice Seiko Chronograph, but it died several years ago.

have a birthday in 2 weeks, so good excuse to treat myself if i can find something I like.

That's a great watch. I don't have that exact one, but I have around a dozen of the Seiko 5's.

Almost all of my diving has been with a G-Shock, GSAR or Suunto. I have a couple of Citizen Aqualand Dive Watches, and they fogged up the first time I dove with them. If you are “really” diving, i.e. 100+ feet, Nitrox/EAN, etc, I would just use a G-Shock and save the nice watches for apres dive.
