I'm not turning Porter!!!! I've got an appointment with a neurologist but that's for pinched nerve issues messing with my feet and legs. There's nothing wrong with my mind any more than the rest of yuins.

I realize that's not saying much.

My wife is improving and the doctor says if she continues to do so tonight that she will be going to an in-house physical rehab facility tomorrow for a week.

With this news I will be able to get some decent sleep tonight. Getting about four hours sleep a night for the last four nights has me just about wore out.

Several years back my mom had a TIA. That was about the scariest thing I experienced with regard to someone you care about. Amazingly, she had her humor though the entire event. Joking with the EMTs and hospital staff, and family too. It was a rough few hours until she started coming around. She has no memory of it at all.

Another friend's wife had a stroke at 40. They had only been married a relatively short time. Thankfully, she returned to about 90%. Slight limp and peripheral vision is gone, but she is going strong.
