Not sure if I'm going on the HRPT next year. It's fun and all but I may check out another tour. Or just take a trip myself somewhere. Year One has a tour twice a year. Their Driving it Home Tour 2012, starts in Branson, Mo in September and goes to Ga, to their HQ's. Much smaller than the HRPT. They also have another one that was sometime in May, but I don't recall the name of that tour.

We'll see.

Looks like an awesome trip Pete. I can't believe you were in Louisville and I was out of town. I owe you that beer and will definitely find a way to make good on it.

Stay tuned, I will end up there again sometime within 2 years.

I think we all should invade Canada, visit Sweet up there and I may find Cpl Sober's lumberjack rapist to finish that report with a name.

Yeah that's the other run. I don't know for sure but it appears they just go from point A to point B. The backroads are cool but sometimes I like just going from A to B myself.

and you're right, that run in September would be pretty warm. But not any warmer than last year through the south, but again, don't know if I would be willing to spend another week in hell like last year's HRPT from Florida through Ga and Al.

Last year I drove from CA to Niagara Falls, Gettysburg, VA, SC, FL, back on I-10 West and that area from FL thru Louisiana was humid crazy hot. Texas thru CA is hot, but is dry heat and it doesn't kill you.

A run like these ones around April-May would be cool.

If this route goes the way it appears to, the section from Branson to Hot Springs is an awesome tour, and would be within an hour of me. Actually, parts of it would be within thirty minutes of me. Only problem is, that's my wife and my anniversary week. Don't know if she'll let me go play...
