1936 Chevy Assembly Line
Guys, I think this video is 100% awesome. I got this from another Vette forum.
Enjoy "Cool video of 1936 Chevrolet assembly line. Fascinating 1936 footage of car assembly line. [VIDEO] some of those repetitive jobs look boring and dangerous. I'd like to see a "finger inventory" at the end of each day." |

Ok, I thought that was fantastic! The frame assembly line with all those riveting heads-WOW! And NO computers!
All the lug nuts went on one-by-one with fingers-no multi-drive torque hubs! The stamping plant was cool with all those old shapes coming to life! I agree with the "finger inventory" remark! I bet they saved all the severed fingers-that's what they used to make steering knuckles out of!!! Great video! Last edited by SQUIRMIN VERMIN 84; 12-10-2012 at 3:13am. |

That was beyond cool Pete. Did you notice the workers, all dressed neatly and not one over weight worker; a far cry from what you see today
