Complicated question. Would depend on numerous other factors that are impossible to predict. At the moment, I think confiscation is a opportunistic political distraction for D.C. not a real threat to gun owners.

I think that is a long way off if ever if you are a respectable owner. Theoretically speaking of course.

Otherwise, this is already occurring under Red Flag Laws. You should worry more about the current shit at hand than more bullshit conspiracy.

If they do it right (a big if), like send a SWAT team, and stake out the house, cut off your utilities etc. and make it clear that they are NOT going away until you surrender your weapons, I think only a fool would not surrender and try to fight the good fight some other day.

If some bozo shows up at the door, and says "give me your guns", I'm suddenly going to be very forgetful, hard of hearing, and generally uncooperative.

I'd ask for a list of the guns they were looking for. Most of my guns are not on anyone's list as they were either passed down to me or I purchased them from private sellers.

This. There are no records anywhere that I own any firearms, so how would they know to come here and how would they know what kind and how many firearms to confiscate?
