It started running like crap. Pulled the cap and the points looked horrible. Replaced them with a Pertronix. It was a toss up between that and a HEI. I just didn't feel like pulling the old dist. and all that mess. It will be interesting to see if it helps mpg at all. Sure does run better minus the crappy points!

I've a '73 Eldorado Convertible that get's 8 MPG sitting, rolling down hill, going 60MPH with top down

them 165 hp really burn up the gas
