Factory intake off my truck. Can't believe this thing, replaced it with an Air Raid intake tube using the factory air box. Added a K&N as well. Factory air box is isolated from the engine compartment, so research showed this is the best bang for the buck. Seems to breathe a bit better over 3000 RPM and the air sucking noise is gone.

That's surprising, since weird factory designs like that are usually done for silencing purposes. Aftermarket intakes are almost always louder.

Maybe I worded that badly, it now has a deeper rumble to it (running Dynomax exhaust). It had a slight "whooshing" sound before.
