Anyone ever get horned by a catfish? I'm not sure why, but it's one of the most painful things you'll ever experience.

Yeah man, and it burned for over a week. Felt like the barb was still in there stinging me the entire time.

I play with any catfish these days it's with heavy gloves on.

Same here. I've been stung by hornets, bees, and wasps. I've been bit by brown recluse spiders. Even been bit by (non-poisonous) water snakes. But the most painful by far is getting stuck by a 5 lb catfish.

I seen the catfish drown in the water rush to the swamp at bottom of the hill,


but never caught one......


NOW if I was 1/2 a century younger, I would have to say HELLO BABY!!!!!
