My view has always been, if the thread doesn't look interesting, I don't click on it. Not like the title is "Puppies and Kittens and Titties" and bam, it's a political thread about debt ceilings or some shit. I personally stay away from PRC because my blood starts to boil at a certain level. The discussions in OT are a little tamer and I can just not click if I don't wanna

Lately it seems to be coming on stronger and stronger.
Hell, even if a thread is aboot titties or bacon the chance of it becoming political are pretty good.

OP has a valid point. What happened to LATB? I liked him, but he just couldn't help but turn any thread into a political smackdown. Where is LATB now?

The VB is pretty self moderating, which means that we all know where topics belong (PR&C vs. OT). I agree with the OP that we seem to be forgetting that.
