It's interesting to see how completely complacent many people are, because in my travels there is a very cold anger out there about how completely screwed up things are, and that it has reached a tipping point. I guess just going "Welp, oh well, I'm fine!" is OK for some, but it wasn't how I was brought up, and I refuse to just whistle past the graveyard.

I'm very grateful for my health and lifestyle, and I'm glad many of us here are doing well, doesn't mean things couldn't be done a whole lot better, which means lots more people would be doing a whole lot better; doesn't mean I'm not going to comment on something stupid when I see it, especially if it's government.
