The chutzpah of the guy to try and negotiate his payment for allowing OP to clean up his property is off the charts. I could see the guy being blindsided by the proposal the first time, and offering a knee jerk reaction, "well, I'll agree, but for a higher price." But now he's had time to consider it. I was heading North back to NJ! But at some point, I will be moving South. To exactly where, I don't know.
