Afternoon folks

Drama in the neighborhood yesterday and this morning....
Cliffs: neighbors dog(pit) attcked other neighbor on own property, dog seized injures sustained.


Back story, neighbors are fuktards who don't take care of dogs, i have taken better care of their numerous animals than they have. Currently have 2 dogs, one a mix smaller that I trained to sit, walk and go home years ago as he'd play with my dog. They've had numerous pits and a few have been problems including one they have(had). He got aggressive about year ago and wife told neighbors pen him or i kill him. Ok then... I put fence up and he put shock collar wireless fence thing on him and penned him 24/7. Still aggressive but stayed on their property and was only out a couple hrs from time to time so not major issue. Well around turkey day he told me dog was at my place as collar broke and not to worry he was keeping in pen from now on. Ok seems reasonable because he was told I'd kill the ****er if he came over and was aggressive years ago(and 4 or 6 dogs ago). Hadn't been out since turkey day.

Yesterday the nicest guy I know who lives other side of them was out talking to them(on his property) and the ****ing pit attacked him as they had let them out to run around sans shock collars. Tore through heavy work pants and lit him up. Hospital trip time.
Dog owner agreed get rid of the dog, reasonable as they are both nice guys really and thought that was the end, both parties were satisfied. See he's a super nice guy to not even want medical bills payed and dog isn't vaccinated for rabies so... He's lucky not doing the shots already.

Well when a dog bites animal control gets a call and they seized the dog today. Owner says he wants it back now and guy who was bit is a tad upset. Talked him out of just killing the dog on the spot today to keep him out of jail. The guy has 2 small kids and thank the lord he didn't go after them.

The guy who was bit tore a fence down about a year ago between them that was overgrown and I had warned him the dogs wouldn't stay away and to put fence back up. I feel horrible he got bit even though warned him.

To get the dog back after 10 days quarantine, shots, owner has to attend aggressive dog classes. Dog has to be kept inside, when outside on 4 ft leash on a harness with muzzle or subject to animal seizure and prosecution. No ****in way he does any of it as dog has never been inside once and isn't trained at all. It's going to end badly for someone when and if dog shows back up.

On a lighter note... My hands hurt so bad all night barely slept.. Stupid hands.
Taking a day off BB so get some stuff done for me please to pick up the slack.

The 17” ZR-1 wheels and Nitto tires combined were reasonable. It’s roughly 4 to 5k to upgrade to CCW’s and tires.

We live in the County and there are a few stray dogs that roam the area so I carry, or have it close by, when outside. That would have been a dead dog as soon as it came towards me.

He came home from work yesterday and saw the neighbors outside walked over to talk about horses he's getting and fence putting up. He didn't see the dog coming until last second I guess. I carry a tazer if just walking out to get mail or sit outside unless I know a dog is loose. There was a long stretch had to keep weapon handy there was so many strays being dumped. It's not wildlife I worry about (foxes, possums, raccoons) but the feral cats and stray dogs. We even have a small bear in the area doesn't concern me.
