This one is a little tough. It's probably my GT350. I've owned this car for 7 years, which is the longest I've had a car, and it's been pretty problem free. Did have the clutch replaced a couple years ago under the powertrain warranty because the slave failed.
A close second would be my Focus RS. It was such a blast as a DD and I miss that car often. I did just get a GR Corolla in October and it's a pretty fund car and may fill that RS void. 300 hp out of a 1.6L 3 cylinder is wild. AWD, manual transmission, hatchback, and gets 27 mpg. Can't complain. |

I loved all my classics (Corvettes, Mustangs, Camaros, T-birds) but my old 1955 Buick will always have a place in my heart. The backseat was the size of a basketball court and my dates and I took full advantage at the drive-in movies. I did the horizontal hula more times than I can count in that car.

2021 Corvette.
Why? Looks, reliability, performance, and wow factor. I effing love this car and can't wait to get the Z06. Pretty sure I'm going that way vs. the Porsche for several reasons, but most importantly what class I can compete those two cars in in my sport. |

I'd have to say my current ride - a 2017 Lexus LS 460 F-sport. Why?
Super reliable - nothing goes wrong. Nice handling, comfortable on long trips, decent gas mileage on the road. AWD - with aggressive all season tires GREAT in foul weather (snow, rain). 2nd would be our old lexus 1997 - and our corvette C6. All great cars zero issues. |

Pretty much all of them.
My wife has had some bad ones, however. She had a Early 2000's Trailblazer that got the worst fuel mileage of any car that we've owned, and it rode like a 70's Caddy: boat-float. Then she had a Ford Five Hundred. FWD, CVT, AWD. Nearly impossible to do repairs. As soon as I saw something leak (the AC compressor) I traded it in, and swore that it was my last sideways engine car. |

In real life terms, that saves me $100k, but I'm still in a financial situation that if I spend $160k on a Corvette or $250k on a Porsche, it doesn't change the needle on the monthly budget one bit. BUT, I want the 2019 GT3 RS, and it's not currently classed in any stock class, and would require me to jump to Super Street Prepared, which would then require many modifications to be competitive. I'm not buying a quarter of a million dollar car to not be able to drive it the way I want to drive it. Stock class is where I want to be, and the C8 Z06 was just added to the Super Street class, and the compromise in tires for competitive rubber is minimal. Only loss is 20 mm in rear tires. OEM 345 wide, available rears in competitive tires 325 wide. New GT3's or even GT3 RS from 2019 can't run in SS. I'm not buying a paper weight to show off. I want to compete.
