Even my daughter says women are too emotional to be in demanding leadership roles. She is about as spunky as a woman can be, but dealing with a lot of women as a manager she is still realistic considering today’s culture.

You would think so, but that's often not the case. The CO of the first ship I was assigned to was an absolute screamer, saw him dress down several officers in front of the crew. He really didn't trust many of his officers and usually was up on the bridge for most activities, even the normal steaming.

Last CO I had on my last ship was like that. His nickname was "Fat Finger Joe". No respect from the crew. What a shame because the CO before you would sail thru the gates of hell to fight with him. Excellent leader, Joe not so much. He demoralized the entire crew within three months of taking command. I was glad to leave for back surgery.

I have heard said by many woman that they realy do not like working under a woman boss.

Having had to work on heat and HVAC systems in many offices I have seen it personally. Bottom line most woman run on emotion and men (for the most part) run on logic!

Ditto on my last CO before I got out of the USN. He was the deciding factor for me getting out.
