I have to wonder in the last several years all these new moderators. Some of those guys I have never heard of and have been there since 2004. VB and CF have some sort of thing going on with all the new infraction and the many bans that have happened.

There's a big difference, CF is owned by a major corporation who limits their exposure to things that damage their brand such as bias, threats of violence, homophobias, racism or anything that could cause them legal issues. VB is privately owned and they control what content they allow, not several lawyers and executives in an ivory tower. Funny thing is a lighter hand here has led to a better environment without all the issues that happened at CF.

The new mods and moderation started in a time when CF was frankly out of control. The sad part is while banning many who deserved it, far too many good people got swept away as well, many ended up here. You can tell the difference, the ones that were dicks there and cause the problems are also dicks here. They're easy to tell from the good guys that got banned unjustly in my opinion.

It is 100% true. There was the guy interviewed (A Wall-street guy) admitted to snorting coke and giving Obama head in a limo in NY. Almost impossible to find that interview these days. Been scrubbed very hard by internet police.

I have determined after 10+ years of posting in prc, the mods are worse than nazis, if you do not follow their lead you will be imprisoned, there is no avenue to defend your words.

As an adult, I take offense when my liberties are squashed, therefore I only visit the C6, C7 and C8 forums, my life is unaffected by no longer posted in that highly-restrictive forum.
Why post in a medium when you are asked to throttle back on your principles??

They pretend to have an appeal process. They pretend that PM discussions are open for debate or pleading your case. Neither of those are true. The judge's decisions are biased and final and if you don't like it, too bad.

I defended mine, which weren’t bad at all and actually not directed at anyone initially. Got 30 days when the Detroit Dawg asked me if I was inferring and I told him “if the shoe fits wear it”. He posted warning or whatever in my inbox but banned me before I could read them or have a chance to respond.

I once got a multi-day ban after some leftie posted we gain too much from working hard.

I replied you can lower your own standards, but mine will remain, as in our country you should always be rewarded for effort.

I was shutdown and received a pm advising my reply was very hostile and targeted, and I would receive permaban if done again.

Got out of jail today and went in to a few threads and didn’t see a sign of J**** or cumdog .. And I read the messages from J**** that said s9mething funny, out of context of course but here’s the screen print before he bans me again for bashing him on a different forum. “You know what you are doing” made me chuckle .. guess he’s much more enlightened than we all thought.
