I’ve had the same HP Laserjet 4 plus printer since 1994. Also the same IBM PC AT keyboard since the 1980s. They just don’t make some things like they used to.

This model canon printer mg7720 has always sucked between the ink heads always getting clogged and it looses wifi connections all the time it was just time to say goodby taking a plunge into the middle of the street. Not to mention how expensive this ink is. You just can't understand the pleasure it gave me to fling this in the air and watch it break apart but you just can't throw it once you have top do it several times to get the rage out. I am totally cured now until this HP arrives we shall see its fate.


Not to mention a VCR I had took the same route of death as well a Hoover vacuum cleaner I had.

Does any one use Brother all in one printers?
Their ink appears to be the least expensive.
Lowering residual costs is my mantra, so I'm looking into getting a brother printer.

Let's see, I have a broken HP Workforce 845 sitting on the printer shelf behind me. We've been using my "backup" printer for a couple years now, a Samsung laser printer. I put a new, high capacity toner cartridge in it about four years ago, and set the print darkness to something fairly light yet legible. It prints two-sided so you use a lot less paper, and honestly IDGAF about color printing. I say if you don't have to have color, you can avoid ink cartridges which are expensive and just go with a laser printer.
