They would have to do a detailed Lightning Strike Inspection. You look the entire air frame over for damage, especially the area it hit. Look for an entry point and exit points. Usually a static wicks or two will be damaged. They are designed to limit the static build up on the aircraft as it is flying through the air. But they are not lightning arrestors and can be damaged. The last time we had to do a lightning strike Insp. on one of our aircraft we had to replace 3 of them as the tips of the wicks were blown off. Then do an operations check of all the avionics equipment. Make sure everything is functioning correctly.

If you look at the still pic, you see where it strikes at the top of the aircraft forward of the Vertical stabilizer and an orange glow by the left main mount (wheel and landing gear).

I wonder if they found any damage on that landing gear or brake? Definite exit point!

Ya, that was how the lightning went through the wheel into the tarmac.
I wonder if the passengers short hairs stood on end when that happened.
