I find that really successful people tend to start thinking about their legacy early. They were true assholes to get to where they are, but want to remembered as a giving asshole. Think Carnegie, DuPont, Gates, Ms.Badger. So , they turn against the system that gave them their wealth and start caring about “little people.” And as with all wealthy people, think all problems can be solved with money.
