Quick Salsa
6- yellow chile's
1- jalapeno or serrano (or any seriously hot chile of your choice) 1 large can toatoes or 4- large or 6 medium fresh tomatoes 1- bunch cilantro (depending on how much you like cilantro - you can vary to taste) 1- bunch green onions 1/16th clove fresh garlic (more if you love garlic) --Boil chiles in medium saucepan for 30-40 min --chop chiles after cooked --mix chopped chiles and tomatoes in food processor or blender, do not over process, --chop cilantro(not the stems) and green onions and garlic, mix in with tomatoes/chile mixture in blender/FP process for 10-25 sec. --refrigerate for 30 minutes. If you want pan sear the chiles after cooking it adds a different variation on the flavor. |
