Scones Recipe
2 1/4 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar 1 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 6 TBL butter 1 cup heavy cream Preheat oven to 350 Combine flour, sugar, baking soda and salt in food processor. Cut in butter until mixture looks crumbled. Add cream at a slow drizzle. Press into 2 inch thick pastry and cut into triangles and bake 25-30 min or brown on bottom Take out and place on cooling rack. My wife added a few cranberries to the mix for a little flavor. Blueberries would be good, too. |
