Default So, did a little shopping today!!....

Got rid of this...

Replaced it with this...

What a blast! 2010 2SS 7,600 miles. Walked out of the dealership with their arm attached to the deal. They made less than $500 on the whole deal!! Whoo hoo!

Now that I am home, I can give more specifics...It is Inferno Orange. Has a borla exhaust that is just perfect. You know its there at idle, but not obnoxious, not even under full throttle. The stripes are actually painted on, and are clearcoated over. The windows are tinted, and HID head and fog lamps were already installed. Brembo brake package, which I assume was a factory option considering they have Chevrolet on there along with the Brembo insignia. The tires are in great shape, and its just ready to be driven. This will be my daily driver, and oh what fun we will have!

Funny. About an hour ago, I was telling the wife that I couldn't see replacing my DD low car with a truck.

Congratulations!

I have driven a few of them and you need to watch out if you have a large suitcase and put it in the trunk.

When I tried to get it out of the trunk, it was like Chevrolet built the car with that suitcase in the trunk. It would hit the top of the trunk opening and the back at the same time. After about 10 minutes of pulling, pushing and funny looks, I got the damn thing out. That bag went in the back seat for the rest of the trip.

Kickazz Brad!
I just rented one for our last trip in Cali. I had rented the RS model before and thought it rode well.

The SS was obviously much faster and more enjoyable. Gas mileage wasn't too shabby either.

I kept telling my wife I couldn't figure out why Forum folks were doggin' it so much. Although, I did have issues with visibility. That car has blind spots on all sides... But, that was my only negative at all.

I thought it rode a LOT better than the Stang GT I rented earlier this year.
The Camaro looks great, rides great, and is made in

Thank you! After the first half tank...I was able to keep my foot out of it enough to get 15.45 miles/gallon. About the same as the truck, but the fun factor compared to the truck is off the charts! I feel like I can improve my city mileage once the new wears off

Thanks man! I really love it. I wanted a Vette, but at what I was willing to pay, this was the best deal going. Had I gotten a vette, I would have had to sacrifice low mileage...I wasn't willing to do that. This car is what I wanted...enough to get me in trouble...But I think I have matured enough to fear the consequences and keep it on the straight and narrow!

I tested a new 5.0 mustang...it was nice, but the ride was a little bit more bumpy...I wasn't going for plushness anyways, but it is a nice bonus that you aren't tired of driving in an hour...

Yeah man, just like the GT; with trac control off, you can lose your azz real quickly with that much power to the ground.

Yeah...6.2 LS3, 426/420...enough to lose your head if you aren't careful. Frankly, it scares me in stock form. I know that will eventually change, but these guys doing 6-700+ RWHP are nuts. I can't imagine where you could use that kind of ass....and keep it in check!
