Love the conversion vans. Sold ours three years ago or so. Just wasn’t using it anymore. Loved that thing.

He's 19, going to need to rent another mule for awhile i guess damnit. Wonder if he can still lift 80lb bags of concrete though as I have some to pour soon.... Hmmm
He's top heavy and man when he starts going down he'll ruin everything... Like watching a train wreck. Some people fall gracefully.. He ain't one of those. I fall and I bounce off shit and twist and graze stuff, he just plows into shit and ruins everything in site and unfortunately I was in the way this time. Fyi dining room chairs suck to fall into and tile isn't my favorite flooring right now. I did probably save his teeth from the floor and having to buy new furniture.

I always wanted one, but never pulled the trigger. My wife was more comfortable with big SUV's. I thought one of these would have suited us better, but she was afraid to drive one.

I totally forgot that the craziest thing happened this morning. I went to get gas at the corner store on the way to the car show, and this guy was gassing up his '65. I asked if he was on his way to Vette fest, and he looked at me like I had 2 heads. Turns out he was just on a morning drive. We chatted for a bit, and he let me know he had a tanker car as well.

Got him in house and started cleaning wound with him in a chair, after a couple cleanings and gauze swaps he caught a good look at thumb and out he went... Right onto me as I had a box of wound treatment stuff on floor and had kneeled down to grab more gauze. Chair went out he ruined me then hit the floor. Good news is the knee hurt more than thumb at that point. He outweighs me by over 75lbs so he won. Wife and I got him back into chair and she was on holding duty... Luckily didn't happen again. Few hours later he's got 5 or 6 stitches, a story to tell, sore knee and teeth(from hitting me with jaw) and some take out bacon cheeseburgers... Lady seemed to be good at stitching people up but I'll scrutinize her work when I clean it, I've been butchered a few times and swear they used rope for stitches in fingers hurt so bad.

As a side note I haven't had take out food since April except for fried chicken from Grocery store few times. Don't enjoy takeout food and usually onky partake once a month at most.
Off to eat some cake and ice cream... Later.
Damn! Hopefully the UC provider is better at sutures than my foundation guy was at lifting concrete.

Unless that area was a train wreck those guys were way in over their heads. Slabs have to be free to move independently if rasing them or weird shit happens to start with. Proper amount of liquid(either mortar or foam) is inserted to raise area and it's checked and adjusted. Either something wedged and nothing moved or possibly it was horribly unlevel and shouldn't have been done. I saw a large corner of a driveway raised 4 to 6 inches before and was dead on flat when done.
I bet that whole area is was off level now even with slope for drainage.
If they can't fix I'd get a refund and just havd it torn out at this point as it'd be hard to fix that screw up.
Good luck.
Agreed. It did not look bad at all (BEFORE they started). Had a SMALL crack in the center but was dropping off a little too much. We just wanted it stabilized before putting on a surface. It is a complete and utter disaster at this point. I felt bad for the guy, he is older and really nice, kept saying he was new and kept calling for "assistance". It's on them, as far as I am concerned, they will pay to have the patio replaced, and it ain't gonna be cheap.

A new guy should have never been sent to do this job, new guy gets sidewalks and small jobs. It'd require cutting loose from all surrounding materials to allow easy movement first off, which that wall would have been difficult to do so a cut close to wall and the area patched later, same for the house if didn't have expansion strips.
The crack should have been cut open beforehand to make sure wouldn't bind, you would have been told there would need to be repairs that would show(if weren't coating it). You really weren't kidding about how bad it looks. I hope there are lots of before pictures to help ya out also.
