Yup, utter ****ery in the case numbers in Florida. Remember that list of 30-some clinics I posted up a couple days ago, where they all had 100% positive rates?

The Florida Department of Health released its daily coronavirus testing report showing a statewide positivity rate of 11 percent, but FOX 35 News investigated and quickly noticed some shocking positivity rates.

Countless labs have reported a 100 percent positivity rate, which means every single person tested was positive. Other labs had very high positivity rates. FOX 35 found that testing sites like Centra Care reported that 83 people were tested and all tested positive. Then, NCF Diagnostics in Alachua reported 88 percent of tests were positive.

How could that be? FOX 35 News investigated these astronomical numbers, contacting every local location mentioned in the report.

The report showed that Orlando Health had a 98 percent positivity rate. However, when FOX 35 News contacted the hospital, they confirmed errors in the report. Orlando Health’s positivity rate is only 9.4 percent, not 98 percent as in the report.

The report also showed that the Orlando Veteran’s Medical Center had a positivity rate of 76 percent. A spokesperson for the VA told FOX 35 News on Tuesday that this does not reflect their numbers and that the positivity rate for the center is actually 6 percent.

Notice that the mistakes ONLY GO IN ONE DIRECTION. EVERY SINGLE TIME. This is why many Americans like myself are about fed the hell up with all this. Our "medical experts" aren't even trying to justify why they need our economy ruined with actual real data, because they wouldn't be able to if they told the ****ing truth. So done with this shit.

A much more relevant statistic would be the percentage of positives compared with negatives. I don't think I've seen that yet.

Who are they testing? Just people with symptoms? People with symptoms and/or pre-existing conditions? Anybody who wants a test? Anybody over 65?

All these things would alter the percentage of positives.

Downtown Reno is a shithole full of homeless panhandlers an lots of vacant buildings. I go there now and then because I get free rooms and I like the Auto Museum, but I rarely leave the hotel I'm at. Other than the Museum, there's nothing to see.

Well, if they are only testing people with symptoms, or people who had contact with someone else who tested positive, I would think that would show a higher rate than testing people who were feeling fine but were just curious, or were just being tested because they were required to do so, such as a job requirement.

Most states do that. They show total tests, % +, also show how many recovered, how many hospitalizations and how many deaths. Not sure why some states can’t figure simple data points.

We also Do not count in multiple tests on the same person. So if one person tests positive three different times it only counts as one occurrence.

The reason Reno is a shithole is half the Casinos there went out of business because of Indian Gaming in California. Same thing with Sparks.
