I like the larger 600... right up to the point that you see the price. They actually make the asinine prices from the other brands look reasonable by comparison.

There has been plenty of competition in the performance SUV market before the escalade V.
Porsche Cayenne, Audi RSQ8, BMW X5M, Range Rover Supercharged, Lambo Urus, Mercedes G/GLS/GLE, Ferrari Purosangue, Jeep Trackhawk, Durango Hellcat, Bentley Bentayga.

But I'll have to agree the escalade is really in its own segment since it's not a performance SUV. It's a bus that has been hot rodded with a good engine and basically nothing else for performance. The escalade v is the perfect option if you like wearing gold chains and making popcorn exhaust crackles at car show, hanging out at the Florida man mud pits, or being the alpha Karen at PTA meetings. Not the best option if you like a top quality/top performance vehicle.


The GX550 is in a completely different segment than the escalade anyway. GX's have high build quality, good dealerships, Offroad capability, and luxury appointments.

I agree, wheels look like ass, and those paper thin sidewalls are for show, not for go.

The wifey is the queen of curbing rims, she claims they jump out at her?!?!?
