USAF Active Duty from Dec 98 - Jan 19. (20 years, 22 days).
3PO until 2012 (Security Forces with 10 years as a K9 guy)
1NO until 2019 (Intelligence) (retired)
Served as a DOD Contractor from 2019-2024
Currently a DAF (Dept. of Air Force) Civilian serving the Intel Community. (There's no specialty code for what I currently do.)
In 2028, I'll have been directly serving (or supporting) for 30 years.

Navy O4 (SWO)

Spent the first few years on ships. Tomahawk Strike officer, went to a few schools and became the Chief Engineer on a DDG. Simultaneously led the VBSS operations (dealing with piracy). Got myself hurt doing that and went to intel with USSTRATCOM for a few more years doing targeting, mission planning, and weapons analysis before I finally decided that I had enough of spending most of my life in underground SKIFs and transitioned out.

Real heroes are easily spotted. They wear uniforms - law enforcement, military, medical, firefighters, etc. Heroes are not athletes, don’t let the uniform fool you. Nor are they rock stars or anything else of the like.

Maybe you could offer your services to our military, to train them on how to defend our border. I don't believe they have those skills, or that training.
