Look at it this way. Everybody you deal with gets an allotment of 20 pounds of patience.

If somebody annoys the shit out of you every single time they show up, it uses a 1/4 or a 1/2 lb of that patience.

Eventually you run out and say "I've had enough of your bullshit".
